Abstract

We present a clinical case of a 57-year-old patient with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, referred for septal alcohol ablation due to persistent symptoms and significant obstruction in the left ventricular outflow tract despite treatment with medications in maximally tolerated doses. Optimal post-procedural outcome. A reduction of the obstructive gradient and relief of symptoms were achieved, without the occurrence of complete atrioventricular block and other periprocedural complications.
